SSRC through its parent organization Steinbeis Gmbh, Germany will assist in technology transfer of any European product to Indian market. Situated in the prime location of Chennai, SSRC aims to act as a resource hub for individuals to carry on research work on the platform of green energy. It is a visionary objective of our organisation to incorporate solar PV skills among engineering community.

We play pivotal in Solar PV Development by imparting Training Program for Professionals, Students, Scholars, Solar PV Aspirants and Consultants. SSRC indulge in the role above areas and has strong foothold in Indian SPV Market. Training will be technical,so that every individual will attain deeper SPV skills. SSRC has tie ups with leading companies and educational institutions to promote training activities and product development.

SSRC has grown into an immense network, one in which you can find solutions for almost any area of technology. Steinbeis, the parent institute of Steinbeis Solar Research Centre (SSRC), was established in 1971 in Germany. Its major role is in Technology transfer and promotion of various R&D Activities.The key milestone in 1983 at the instigation of Prof.Dr. h. c. LotharSpäth, then Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg, who appointed Prof.Dr.Dr. h. c. mult. Johann Löhn the first Government Commissioner for Technology Transfer. Johann Löhn’s made the foundation of Transfer Centers one of his top priorities at the time. Initially regarded as associate institutions of the State’s universities of applied sciences, Transfer Centers were to focus chiefly on specific project work with customers as well as consulting services.

Today, all types of universities and numerous research institutions are home to these Centers.As of 2013, a total of 978 enterprises are there under Steinbeis network each performing their own discipline of research. A total of 1708 Employees, 3544 contractors and 730 professors come under the SteinbeisGmbhcentre. TheSteinbeis enterprise has achieved a turnover of 145 million Euros in 2013.

For 25 years, Steinbeis has advanced and led knowledge and technology transfer between trade and industry and science and academia.
